GREAT NEWS! We have a North American Premiere for 50 Kisses at the prestigious Rhode Island Film Festival!
Dates: August 5th to 10th 2014
This is a GREAT festival, I went about five years ago (video blog here) – the venue and audiences are outstanding and I am really amped that we have been selected for competition (the pic here is from the opening night when I attended).
So… who from the 50 Kisses team wants to attend? I know Phil Peel will be going as we are screening the ‘international cut’ which also includes his film of ‘Love’. Drop me a mail at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are up for attending. I am sure we have a GREAT chance of winning an award too.
Here is the acceptance letter…
‘Congratulations! On behalf of Flickers I am pleased to inform you that your submission “50 Kisses” produced by Chris Jones has been selected for exhibition during our 18th Annual Flickers: Rhode Island International Film Festival. Your film was selected from over 5,000 submissions from over 60 countries. Your film will be featured as part of this year’s Official Competition, and will be in contention for our Grand Prize for Best Feature Film.
We hope that you are as excited as we are to screen your film with Flickers. This acceptance is a direct result of our enthusiasm for the project, which we are certain audiences will share in August. In granting this privilege, our hope is that your film will be a highlight of the festival.’
